The PA/PR Committee meets once per month either as a local moccittee or as a regional committee with Halifax County and Dartmouth PA/PR committee members.  This committee is responsible for maintaining contact with local media.  this comittee plays an important role in promoting teacher image through publicizing programs of local interest.  The committee maintains an updated contact file of MLA's, Municipal Council Members, School Board members and other persons with an interst in public education.  On occasion, this committee may place newspaper ads or television ads related to education.
